  • All-Inclusive Pricing

All Sacbé Moto Adventures tours are fully all-inclusive from the moment you land in Guatemala.

    You fly — we ride.

We handle everything on the ground so you can focus on enjoying the journey:

    • Airport transfers

    • Your dedicated motorcycle (Aprilia Tuareg)

    • All overnight accommodations

    • All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

  • Our tours are designed with a wide range of difficulty — from relaxed, easy-paced riding days to more challenging and extreme sections for experienced riders.

During the booking process, we’ll personally evaluate your riding experience, skill level, and preferences. We’ll then recommend the best tour and group for you, ensuring every rider feels comfortable, safe, and able to fully enjoy the adventure.

On the first day of riding, we continue this evaluation with a gentle shakedown ride. This allows our guides to observe how everyone handles the bike, the terrain, and group riding dynamics in real conditions.

If needed, we can make small adjustments to the route, pace, or group placement so the entire tour remains enjoyable and within everyone’s comfort zone.

  • Yes, transfers are included!

This is a true Fly & Ride package. We pick you up at the airport when you arrive and drop you back off at the airport at the end of your trip, so you get to your home airport and back with ease.

  • On ride out (Day One), we perform a full bike assessment and personalized fitting session before heading out. Our guides will check and adjust your Tuareg to match your height, weight, riding style, and the terrain we’ll encounter. This ensures maximum comfort, control, and safety right from the start.

    Detailed Day-One Process

    1. Initial Assessment

      • We evaluate your fit while seated and standing (in full riding gear).

      • We check suspension sag, lever reach, bar position, and overall ergonomics.

      • We discuss your experience level and the mix of road/off-road riding planned for the tour.

    2. Suspension Adjustments

      • We set rider sag correctly for your weight (typically 30–35% of travel).

      • Preload, compression, and rebound damping are tuned on the spot for the expected conditions (highway, gravel, light trails).

      • If needed, we make quick changes so the bike feels planted and responsive without being too harsh or too soft.

    3. Ergonomic & Reach Adjustments

      • Brake and clutch levers are adjusted for easy 1–2 finger reach with straight wrists.

      • Handlebars can be rotated or risers added if it improves your standing position.

      • For shorter riders: If you have difficulty flat-footing or feel unstable at stops, we can lower the bike by a few inches using lowering links/kits.
Important note: Lowering reduces ground clearance and off-road capability, so we only do this when necessary and after discussing trade-offs with you.

    4. Final Checks

      • Tire pressures, chain slack, controls, lights, and riding modes are all verified.

      • We confirm the bike is fully functional and comfortable before departure.

    Rider Recommendation

To get the most out of the tour with minimal modifications:

    • Riders should be able to comfortably reach the ground (or nearly so) in full gear.

    • A minimum rider height of around 5'6"–5'7" (with gear) is ideal for the stock Tuareg without lowering.

    • Prior adventure or dual-sport riding experience is strongly recommended due to the mix of pavement and unpaved sections.

This Day-One fitting session is included with every tour. Proper setup dramatically reduces fatigue and increases confidence and enjoyment.

  • You can expect clean, comfortable, and well-maintained hotels ranging from 2-star to 4-star properties. We carefully select every accommodation to offer the best available option in each location while keeping the tour’s adventurous spirit.

    What the Accommodations Are Like

    • Clean & Comfortable — All hotels meet high standards for cleanliness, safety, and basic amenities (private bathrooms, hot water, Wi-Fi where available, and secure parking for the motorcycles).

    • Best Available — In cities and popular areas, you’ll often stay in charming 3- and 4-star boutique hotels or well-reviewed resorts.

    • Remote Areas — Because we travel through rural and remote parts of Central America, some nights will be in simpler but still comfortable 2- or 3-star hotels. These are typically the nicest options in those locations and are often surprisingly pleasant.

    • Local Character — Many properties have a genuine Central American feel — think colorful décor, friendly staff, good regional food, and scenic views.

Our riders are frequently surprised by how nice the accommodations are, even in smaller towns and in the countryside.

    Important Notes

    • Variety is part of the adventure — expect a mix of modern hotels and more traditional, character-filled lodges.

    • Single vs. Double Rooms — Double occupancy is standard. Single supplements are available if you prefer a private room.

    • Amenities — Air conditioning, pools, and on-site restaurants are common but not guaranteed in every remote stop.

    • Power & Connectivity — Most places have reliable electricity and Wi-Fi, but service can be slower in very rural locations.

We do our best to balance comfort with authentic adventure travel. If you have special requirements (dietary needs, accessibility, etc.), let us know in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.

  • Every rider is fully responsible for damage to their rented Aprilia Tuareg (up to $1,000 USD). We require a security deposit of $1,000 USD, which is held on your credit card (or in cash if preferred) upon arrival. The hold is fully refunded at the end of the tour once the bike is returned in acceptable condition.

    Full Details

    • Damage Liability: You are responsible for costs resulting from crashes, drops, collisions, or damage caused by unsafe riding, up to a maximum of $1,000 USD per rider.

    • Security Deposit:

      • A $1,000 USD hold will be placed on your credit card at the start of the tour.

      • Cash is also accepted if you prefer not to use a card.

    • Refund Process: The hold (or cash deposit) is released/refunded when the tour ends and the motorcycle is inspected and returned undamaged (or within the covered amount).

    • What’s Covered: Normal wear and tear is not charged. We only deduct for actual damage caused by the rider.

This policy keeps rental costs reasonable while ensuring everyone rides responsibly. Most riders complete the tour with their full deposit returned.Note: We strongly recommend riding within your skill level, especially on unpaved sections.

  • Yes, you can bring a pillion (passenger/guest), with important guidelines:

Our Aprilia Tuareg motorcycles are equipped with passenger seats and footpegs, so riding two-up is possible. However, adding a pillion can slow the group down in technical sections, on hills, or on rough roads due to extra mounting/dismounting time. For this reason, our policy depends on the group:

    • Mixed groups (riders who don’t know each other): We highly recommend that guests not ride as pillion riders. Instead, we strongly encourage your companion to stay at our beautiful home base in Antigua. Antigua is a UNESCO World Heritage Site full of colonial charm, history, culture, cafés, markets, and relaxing activities—most non-riding guests love their time there while the group explores the countryside.

    • Private or familiar groups (riders who know each other well, such as friends or family): We’re happy to allow pillions so everyone can enjoy the adventure together.

    Recommendations:

    • Please let us know your group composition and whether you’d like to bring a pillion when you book. We’ll plan the best and safest experience for everyone.

    • Passengers should feel comfortable with motorcycle travel and be prepared for varied road conditions.

This approach keeps the ride flowing smoothly for everyone while giving non-riding guests a wonderful stay in one of Guatemala’s most enchanting towns.

  • Yes, you can customize your trip!

We design all our tours to highlight the rich culture, history, and beauty of Guatemala and Mesoamerica. That said, how much customization is possible depends on your group:

    • Mixed / unfamiliar groups: We generally follow our carefully planned routes (with some minor adjustments possible) to ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for everyone.

    • All-inclusive private groups of 4 or more riders: We’re more than happy to create a fully customized ride and package tailored to your interests. Our team of local experts will work with you to design the perfect itinerary — whether you want to focus on specific Mayan ruins, colonial towns, volcanoes, coffee regions, or hidden gems.

    How it works:

    • Contact us with your group size, dates, riding preferences, and any special requests.

    • We’ll collaborate with you to build a personalized adventure that matches your pace, interests, and goals.

This flexibility allows us to deliver meaningful, authentic experiences while keeping safety and group flow as top priorities.
