Day 2: Assessment Day – Antigua Local Loops.

We kick things off with a full-day skills assessment ride right out of Antigua. You'll carve along the smooth local roads that skirt the base of Volcán de Agua, climb into the lush green hills west of the city, and flow through scenic colonial-era routes with sweeping views of the surrounding volcanoes.

This isn’t just a warm-up — it’s your chance to shake off any jet lag, dial in your bike, and let our guides evaluate everyone’s riding style, confidence, and experience level in a safe, controlled environment. Expect a mix of flowing pavement, gentle elevation changes, and tight corners with zero pressure and maximum fun.

By the end of the day, we’ll have a clear picture of the group’s capabilities so we can tailor the upcoming wilderness sections to keep everyone riding strong, safe, and smiling. Light mileage, big smiles, and the perfect launchpad for the real adventure ahead.
